(9-5-24) In times like these football is not that important…yesterday in Georgia lives were lost in another school shooting.

Richard Aspinwall (39) was murdered yesterday at the Apalachee (Georgia) High School…he was one of the four victims in yesterday’s mass shooting.

Nearby Mountain View High School identified Aspinwall as a former teacher and football secondary coach, saying its “thoughts and prayers” were with his family.

Brandon Gill, the football coach of Buford High School, wrote on social media that Aspinwall was a “helluva human being” who “would do anything for anyone.” He was an “amazing husband, father, teacher and coach”, he added.

The Wildcats are scheduled to host Monroe Area on Friday night.

The other three shooting victims included:

Schermerhorn, Angulo and Irimie

  • Math Teacher Christina Irimie (53) …Students described her as patient and caring,
  • Christian Angulo (14)…Schoolmates remembered him as funny and with a “chill” attitude.
  • Mason Schermerhorn (14) He was described as lighthearted, and enjoyed reading, video games and visiting Walt Disney World.

Eight students and a teacher were also wounded yesterday in the shooting.
