(6-13-26) For the first time in program history…Delphos St. John’s is a baseball champion. The Blue Jays run rule Leipsic 10-0 in the bottom of the 6th inning.

The baseball state title goes along with the Blue Jays D VII state boys basketball title this past season.

Vikings put runners on second and third with no out but a strikeout and line drive back to the pitcher for a double play end the threat. Maddox Kroeger hits a walk off single in the bottom of the 6th inning to secure a 10-0 run rule win.

Blue Jays’ Andrew Elwer (12-0) picks up a complete game shutout win. Elwer gave up just 5 hits, struck out 8 and walked just 1. Elwer’s brother Cam picked up the semifinal complete game pitching win yesterday.

Andrew Elwer, Drake Fittro, Aidan Swick and Braden Lindeman all had two hits. Cam Elwer had 2 RBIs.
