(9-22-26) Garrett has spent the past 20 years working in media across television, radio, and digital platforms. Throughout his career, he has developed a passion for sports broadcasting and has covered a variety of events as both a radio and television play-by-play announcer.
Garrett’s broadcasting experience includes work with 93.1 The Fan, WOSN, and the Northern Michigan University Wildcats. His time in media has given him the opportunity to work across multiple platforms while continuing to build his experience behind the microphone.
Garrett joins 101.3 WRKD as a 2008 Parkway High School graduate, bringing his professional broadcasting experience back to his hometown. He is excited for the opportunity to represent his community and be part of the station’s local sports coverage.
Garrett looks forward to calling the excellent volleyball, boys basketball, and girls basketball broadcasts on 101.3 WRKD. The opportunity is about more than simply calling games for Garrett. He relishes the chance to showcase the athletes, coaches, and teams that make his hometown special.
