(2-18-17) The Coldwater Boys Bowling team capped off a big weekend for the Cavs bowling teams, winning the Minster Sectionals with a 4,196 score. Yesterday the Cavs’ girls picked up a Sectional title and now both are headed to Districts.
Trey James of Coldwater had the best series of the day with a 686, with the second spot going to St. Henry’s Troy Buehler, who was just 16 pins back with a 670.
Other teams that move out of the Minster sectional to Districts, includes Lima Shawnee (4,059), St. Henry (3,981) and St Marys (3,833).
Other Stateline area team finishes today, Ft. Recovery was 6th (3,502), Marion Local 7th (3,313) and Parkway was 12th (2,887).
Two Ft. Recovery bowlers, Gabe Grieshop and Chris Link, will advance to Districts as individuals. Plus two Minster bowlers, Jordan Brackman and Austin Vanderhorst.
