(4-16-17) There is a new #1 in the SSN National Public HS Baseball Rankings this week.
#1 Buchanan lost for the first time this season to Sunrise Mountain (Az) 11-7, that opened the door for Shawnee to take over the #1 spot for the first time this week. Thanks to Kade Self’s walk-off double that would give the Wolves a 6-5 win over Carl Albert and remain undefeated on the season.
Buchanan dropped to 3rd behind Spring Hill who remains undefeated on the season, after winning it’s 42nd game in a row over in its 8-2 win over Sycamore.
Making a big move after six teams lost this week was Colleyville Heritage who jumped from #12 to #5.
