(5-24-17) – Today was the first day of OHSAA Track and Field Regionals in Ohio. Several Stateline area athletes advanced to next week’s State Championship in Columbus.
In D III at Troy, in the boys meet, two advance to State – Marion Local’s John Dirksen finished 2nd in the Discus and St. Henry’s Collin Mescher picked up a 2nd place.
In the girl’s meet the St. Henry 3, 200 meter relay team will move on to State.
In the D I Regional at Amherst, Celina’s Paige Sutter qualified for State in the Shot Put picking up a 4th place finish.
Preliminaries were held in the remaining events were held tonight with the finals in those events being held this weekend.
