(9-2-17) The perfect score in high school cross country is 15-today the ‘Wonder Women’ of Minster accomplished that at the Columbus Grove Invitational today. The Wildcats moved up to the Large school division today and that makes what happened even more impressive. Minster was 82 points ahead of 2nd place Bryan with 97 points.

The Wildcats were led by Sophomore sensation Emma Watcke with a first place finish in a time of 18:23.87.  She was followed by Kaitlyn Albers, Madeline Magoto, Mackenzie Bohman and Cassie Francis.

The 6th and 7th team runners, Gwendolyn Meiring and Lillian Hirschfeld were 8th and 9th on the day.

There was one small ‘wrinkle’ to the perfect score, Emily Sreenan finished third in the overall meet, but since LCC does not have enough runners to field a team, it allowed Minster the perfect team score
