HS Football National Winning Streaks Update–Week 7

(9-29-17) – Kimberly had to work for their 62nd consecutive win in a 15-8 win over Neenah. The Rockets took an 8-7 in the 2nd Quarter and led all the way to the 4th Quarter with four minutes in the game on a 65 yd touchdown pass to Spencer Schamens.

DJ Stewart would finally put the Papermakers out in front to stay with his 2nd TD on the night on an 11 yard run.

Up next for Kimberly is Appleton North who they beat 35-14 last season.

Bishop Guilfoyle hung on to win their 52nd game in a row with a 24-21 win over previously undefeated Forest Hills.

Next up for the Marauders is Penn Cambria who they beat last season 35-0.

In Alaska, Soldotna picked up their 56th consecutive win beating Eagle River 42-8 Saturday on Senior Recognition Night.

Brenner Furlong had three TD runs to lead the Stars. Galen Brantley picked up a TD on a Brandon Crowder pass, Cody Quelland and Wyatt Mecoff added rushing TDs.

Next up for the Stars is Kenai Central, last season Soldotna beat the Kardinals 54-27.

Wagoner had no problem picking up their 41st win in a row with a 34-7 win over Cascia Hill.  The Bulldogs crusied after taking a 21-0 lead after the 1st quarter.

Schyler Adair (5’10 Junior) scored on 3 TD runs of 72, 28 and 3 yards to lead Wagoner.

Next up for the Bulldogs will be Miami who they beat last season 69-0.

Cartersvillepicks up its 35th consecutive win beating Cedartown 41-17. The Hurricanes scored 17 in the 1st quarter and 21 in the 2nd to take a 38-0 lead into halftime and coast in for the win.

All-American candidate Trevor Lawrence had four 1st half TD passes.
