(9-22-17) It was another Friday night, two West Virginia HS football teams looking for their first wins of the season. The Paden City Wildcats were 0-3 and had scored only 30 points in three games while giving up 143, for the Hundred Hornets they were trying to end a 42 game losing streak.

Paden City would beat Hundred 54-6 and the Hornets would continue to look for their first win since 2010. It won’t get any easier when they play Bishop Donahue next Saturday. Last season the Bishops beat the Hornets 59-0.

In Minnesota Kimball lost to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg  32-20, for the Cubs it is loss #41 in a row. Last season the Fighting Saints edged the Cubs 8-7.

Next week Kimball takes on Royalton, who they lost to last season 30-0.

In Wisconsin, the Richland Center losing streak continues at 37 in a row after a 42-7 loss to Lancaster.

Next up for the Hornets is River Valley who they lost to 54-7 last season.
