
(10-12-17) Coldwater’s Maura Hoying is ending her high school soccer career with a bang. The Senior hasbeen named the 2017 Western Ohio Soccer League Player of the Year, ad to that honor, she has also been named to the All-WOSL 1st team all four years of her career.
Hoying will end her career after tournament play as the all-time leading Caviler in goals scoredr, she scored her 100th goal on September 12th in a 4-1 win over Botkins, as of today she has (unofficial) 114 in career.

Four other Cavs picked up All-WOSL honors, Erin Schritz joins Hoying on the first team, GK Grace Bruns picked up 2nd team honors, while Abby Bruggeman and Breezy Schneider were given Honorable Mention honors.
WOSL League Champion Anna had five players named to the first team, Claire Bensman, Abby Gaydosh, Savanna Hostetler, Emily Albers and Taylor Noll.
