(6-1-18) It has been quite a year for South Adams’ Addie Wanner, she ended it at the IHSAA State Track and Field Meet tonight by winning the coveted Mental Attitude Award.

Wanner scored all of the South Adams points on the day with 19 and placing them in the top 10 (waiting for final official team scores) out of 67 schools competing. She did it in three events, a 2nd place finish in the long jump, 3rd place in the high jump and a 6th place finish in the 100 meter hurdles.

Hamilton Southeastern won the team state championship with 62 points.

Wanner will run for the University of Louisville next year.
