(10-17-20) The Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) held its boys and girls cross country championships at Cavalier Stadium in Coldwater.

In the boys meet Minster’s Alex Albers led the Wildcats to an easy MAC title outscoring 2nd place Versailess 21-78 and their 4th consecutive title. Albers ran the course in 16:24.07. The Wildcats other runners finished 3, 4 6 and 7th.

Parkway’s Blake Strickler was runner-up with a time of 16: 59.44 and Minster’s Joseph Slonkosky was third at 17:19.24.

Minster’s girls did not skip a beat this year as they pick up another MAC title, outdistancing 2nd place Ft. Recovery 21-78. For the Wildcats it was their 33rd conference title (20,19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 10, 09, 08, 07, 06, 05, 04, 03, 02, 01, 00, 99, 98, 97, 96, 95, 90, 89, 88, 87, 86, 85, 84, 83, 82) and 8th consecutive.

Minster’s Ella Boate won the individual title in a time of 18:44.45, while teammate Maggie Hemmelgarn (19:38.92) finished 3rd. Ft. Recovery’s Ellie Will was the runner-up in a time of 19:29.61
