(3-18-21) Tonight two school districts may make changes in their athletic affiliations, Maumee and Cory-Rawson. Both districts.have been considering changes during the past several months.
February 21st Cory-Rawson Board of Education Special meeting

In a Crescent-News column Maumee tonight in a special Meeting will discuss a possible move from the Northern Lakes League (NLL) to the Northern Buckeye Conference, while Cory-Rawson’s Board of Education will vote on leaving the Blanchard Valley Conference (BVC) to possibly join the Northwest Central Conference(NWCC) in 2023.
Both the NLL and BVC are in the midst of conference changes, the BVC just added Elmwood, while the NLL hopes to double in size. Several other area conferences, the Northwest Ohio Athletic League and the Northwest Conference have seen membership changes. There is also talks of a new conference being formed.
One conference that sees constant membership changes has been the NWCC…but they always seem to bounce back and get a more solid foundation for the future.
