Arch Manning is the son of Cooper Manning, nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning and grandson of Archie Manning.

Manning in the season opening game for (New Orleans) Newman, the 6’4, 215-pound Junior quarterback, completed 19 of 34 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns. He also carried the ball five times for 50 yards and a score in a 28-0 shutout win over Vandebilt Catholic.

Manning, in his first two seasons, has an 18-3 overall record. He’s also thrown for 4,081 passing yards and 53 touchdowns, while completing nearly 68% of his passes.

Manning hasn’t committed yet, but will have his choice of big-time programs to consider.

Arch’s Uncle Peyton, recently named to the NFL Hall Of Fame, had quite a career at Newman. Peyton’s passing yards of 7,528, after being a three-year starter from 1991-93. Uncle Eli had 7,421 passing yards during his Greenie career.

Did you know…

Cooper, Peyton and Eli all wore jersey #18…it was retired after Eli graduated. Arch wears #16.
