(2-28-22) Eaton’s girls basketball team ended the regular season with a 9-13 record. They were seeded 7th in their Mason District.
The great part about tournament basketball…everybody starts anew with a 0-0 record. Eaton took the opportunity to prove they could win.
After winning the Sectional…the Eagles would go on to win their first District title in school history last week beating Summit Country Day 43-35 in the final.
This week they will accomplish another first…they will play in their first Regional, Tuesday at Springfield, when they take on Hamilton Badin in a semi-final game.
After the District Final win Coach Dave Honhart told the Dayton Daily News –
“We’re just going to keep trying to win the game in front of us. We’ll honor this accomplishment and try to get better for the next game.”
