(1-23-17) This week’s SSN National Girls Basketball Player of the Week is Monacan’s (Virginia) Megan Walker (6’1 Senior).

Walker, who is a McDonald’s All-American team member and a UCONN signee continues to impress for the nationally ranked Chiefs.

In a 98-37 win over Huguenot she had 36 points, including 5 from behind the arc.  Also this week in a 94-42 win over  Midlothian she had 26 points, 12 rebounds and 5 steals.

On the season Walker is averaging over 26 points a game.
