(4-30-17 – Ft. Wayne) – Indiana won the annual Nancy Rehm Border Wars Classic girls basketball all-star game over Ohio 79-58 at Saint Francis .
Homestead’s and Indiana’s Miss Basketball, Karissa McLaughlin won the game MVP (23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists) and the 3-Point Shooting contest awards.
The Stateline area was represented by two Ft. Recovery Indians, Whitney Will, who will play her college basketball at St. Francis and Jocelyn Kaiser who will continue her career at Capital University. Will had 11 points and Kaiser had 8 points for the Ohio stars.
