6-4-17 – Darien keeps on winning and they remain as the SSN’s National Public High School #1 ranked team. The Blue Wave picked up 17-6 win over Greenwich in the CIAC Class L Tournament state quarterfinals and will play in Wednesday’s Class L semifinals, where they will play fifth-seeded Glastonbury.

Severna Park and Cherry Creek remain #2 after recently winning State titles.
Much like Darien, Cold Spring Harbor (19-0), keeps on winning and remains at #4, after picking up their 26th straight victory. The Seahawks will face Pleasantville on Wednesday in a state Class C semifinal. ,
Wakefield and Hartland are at #5 and #6 and both remain undefeated. Hartland advanced to the State Semi-Finals this week and will play Detroit Catholic Central.
Weddington remains at #8, The Woodlands moves up to #9, while West Linn drops 5 spots to #10 after an 11-10 OT loss to Oregon Episcopal.
One newcomer is Patrick Henry who knocked off last week’s #7 Atlee 11-3 in a Virginia 5A South Region title game. The win over Atlee revenges their only regular season loss and are now on a 16 game winning streak.
