(6-12-17) Darien went from start to finish as the #1 ranked team in this year’s SSN National Public High School Boys Lacrosse rankings.

The National Champions won their fourth straight Connecticut state boys lacrosse championship  (three Class L championships and a Class M title in 2014. They have 13 state titles overall). The Blue Wave scored the first seven goals of the second half, Kevin Lindley had seven goals and an assist and Logan McGovern added four goals and two assists in the 16-3 win over No. 7 Cheshire, they end the season at 23-0.

  10. – (10) West Linn (Ore) 20-1

Cold Spring Harbor beat defending State Champion Jamesville-DeWitt 11-9 in the New York State Class C championship game, 11-9.

Roanoke Patrick Henry won its first boys lacrosse state title beating Atlee in the Group 5A state championship game 10-9,  thanks to an interception from defenseman Grayson Rech, whose pass led to the winning goal by Frank Hancock.

Two schools dropped a spot after tough losses, Wakefield loss to Beverly 7-6 in the Massachusett D 2 North Championship and dropped to #6.

Hartland  dropped to #7, lost to Detroit Catholic Central 12-11 in OT in a Michigan State semifinal game.  Michigan powerhouse Brother Rice, won its 13th Michigan High School Athletic Association title in a row beating Detroit Catholic Central 8-7, it was the first time the Warriors were held under 10 goals in a state championship game.
