(11-9-17) Celina’s ‘Iron Man’ Kole Murlin was named the WBL Defensive Back of the Year and was also named to the 1st Team as a linebacker and 2nd team as a tight end on offense.
Other Bulldog 1st team members included on the offensive side, Seth Houston (6’1 240 Jr). On defense joining Murlin on the first team was defensive back Dillon Hoying (6′ 175 Sr), Hoying also was named to the 2nd team as a wide receiver.

Celina had four players named to the Honorable Mention list, QB Brett Schwieterman, DB Sam Smith, OT Quinton Haines and OG Jaden Braun.
