(6-8-22) News has come out of the Indiana All Star boys basketball camp this week that this year’s Mr. Indiana Braden Smith of Westfield will miss both games against the Kentucky All Stars this weekend.
According to a tweet by Kyle Neddenriep he is out due to a recent foot surgery.

Mr. Basketball Braden Smith of Westfield will not be able to play as he’s still coming off postseason surgery on foot. Talked to his mom yesterday at golf sectional. Probably will be fully cleared in July ahead of freshman season at Purdue.
Add to the fact that highly regarded Mr. Indiana runner-up, Homestead’s Fletcher Loyer, decided to decline the invitation to participate on this year’s team is another disappointment.
Both players are Purdue commits.
Don’t feel to sorry for the Indiana Stars they still have a very, very talented team to put on the floor.
Tonight the Seniors will get their first action as a team playing the Indiana Junior All Stars. The Juniors this past weekend picked up a win over the Kentucky Junior All Stars at Bedford North Lawrence 112-102.
