(7-19-17) High school athletic conferences continue to make make changes in Ohio. The Central Buckeye Conference has seen numerous schools leave, but have been able to bounce back and find new members to replace them.
The final additions to the CBC have been announced, with London and North Union both joining the conference in the next year or two. The two new members will allow the CBC to retain 12 members and keep the two six team divisions in place (Kenton Trail and Mad River).
CBC Commissioner Mike Ludlow told the Dayton Daily News:
“We’re very excited to have these two come to our league. They’re a good match as far as school size and the makeup of the communities, and they’re close to other conference schools.”
Future CBC Alignment
Kenton Trail Division: Bellefontaine, Jonathan Alder, Kenton Ridge, Shawnee, London, and Tecumseh.
Mad River Division: Benjamin Logan, Graham, Indian Lake, Northwestern, North Union and Urbana.
