(9-16-17) The Milano Eagles ended Bremond’s 49 game winning streak tonight 28-21. They are the second school this season to have their long streak end, two weeks ago Bishop Gorman lost to California power Mater Dei.
Bremond was ranked third in last week’s Texas Associated Press 2A poll. With the win Milano goes to 2-0. Last season Bremond beat Milano 40-7 on their way to a State title.

(9-15-17) – Kimberly rolls to its 61st win in a row beating Appleton West 56-24 . Last year the Papermakers beat West twice 45-14 and again in the playoffs 42-7.
The 56 points is the most scored by Kimberly this season.
The Papermakers next week will take on Neenah looking for win #62.

The Soldotna Stars celebrated Homecoming with a 44-7 win over Kodiak and pick up their 55th consecutive win.
The Stars are know for always spreading the scoring around, tonight’s win was no different, Brenner Furlong had 2 TDs, Aaron Faletoi and Cody Quelland each added a touchdown, while QB Brandon Crowder added two TD passes, one to Galen Brantley III and Luke Trammell.
Next Saturday the Stars will take on Eagle River (2-4), Soldotna shut-out the Wolves last season 47-0. Eagle River lost to Palmer on Saturday 35-8.

Wagoner picked up its 40th win in a row beating Fort Gibson 27-21 in a non-district game.
Running back Schyler Adair led the Bulldogs with 133 yards rushing on 16 carries, adding TD scores of 27 and 2 yards. Nikia Jones had seven receptions for 120 yards.
Next week the Oklahoma Class 4A No. 1 Bulldogs will take on Cascia Hall.

Bishop Guilfoyle picked up win #51 shutting out Cambria Heights 35-0.
Bishop Guilfoyle Coach Justin Wheelertold the Tribune-Democrat after the game about the win:
“We haven’t been happy with some of our quarters and some of our things over the last couple weeks,” Wheeler said after his team had shut out host Cambria Heights 35-0 on Friday night to improve to 4-0. “We’ve been focused on maximum effort all of the time and tonight, for the most part, we thought we had that intensity for most of the game. It was a big-game atmosphere tonight and this is a really good football team so I’m happy with the outcome.”
Marauder’s QB Mark Conrad was 7 for 12 passing for 133 yards and rushed for a team-high 56 yards on five carries. Kolton McGhee, who is committed to West Virginia, had a 48-yard field goal.
