(5-29-18) The Stateline area ‘Big Boys’ had plenty of qualifiers in the shot put and discus that will compete at the OHSAA State Track and Field Meet in Columbus this weekend.

Celina’s Tyler Ross, who broke the school record at the Regional meet, will compete in the D I state discus throw.

Ross won championships at the WBL and District meets and placed 4th at the Regional meet in Amherst.

Ross’ regional throw of 168′ 6 is the 8th longest (out of 16 finalist), the #1 distance is by Canton Glen Oak’s Andrew White with a throw of 196′ 9.

The discus will be held Saturday starting at 3pm.
